I use the brilliant Yorkshire based folio albums who create hand crafted wedding albums. These are simple, stylish and beautifully made, using archival materials. Your images are printed directly onto art paper using archival pigment inks. Each encased in a wide choice of cover material. One large square album and perhaps one or two smaller parent albums for special family or friends, perfectly showcases the fun, love and commitment of your wedding day for generations to come.
Beautifully designed albums
The folding is perfected so the pages sit snugly together when the album is closed and lie flat when open. Ideal for when an image spans a double page - just like Emma and James' album (below).
Brides and grooms, family and friends love these albums. They are handmade modern elegance, with plenty of options for covers - from the tactile feel of rich leather, to soft brightly textured woven silk. Each one totally yours - totally unique.
What I like most about these albums is that they are all individual.
From the design of the layout (which I do) to the individual hand crafting of each page and cover, these albums are completely unique. In essence, you're buying an artform.
The square format enhances the impact and looks much more interesting too as both portrait and landscape images can be used creatively.
You will treasure this album and look back on your day, time and time again.
I also have some samples from another company too that you might prefer.
Most brides and grooms have between 70 - 100 images in their albums. These are the absolute favourites, chosen from my final edited digital selections. I like to mix mono (black and white) and colour, but if you want the album all colour or all mono, thats no problem. In fact all mono can look really stunning.
Putting the album together so it forms a cohesive and interesting narrative of your wedding day takes time and skill. The images need to relate to each other and have to be colour mached and balanced.
When we meet up, I will bring lots of samples so we can discuss your options.
