Initially it's best for us to set up a meeting. We'll discuss what you should expect on your wedding day and I'll show some photos from previous weddings and samples of my lovely hand crafted UK albums. It's a great time for us to get to know each other and for you to ask me any questions you might have.

During this stage we're only talking and I don't do a hard sell. It's up to you both to decide if you like me, my work, and the price.

I moved back to Scotland with my family in 2016 and live near Cupar. It's a beautiful place to live, surrounded by stunning countryside yet close to Perth, Dundee and Edinburgh. I love Scotland and feel very happy to be back here!

 

A camera (or iPhone) is never usually too far from me, and I continually enjoy recording events, whether that's family and friends, parties and weddings, or travelling.

 

I have a long photographic history, with commercial work in London, a Masters degree from the Royal College of Art, exhibitions in the UK and Europe and for a while a visiting lecturer for BA courses at the Arts University Bournemouth and Winchester School of Art.

 

As well as events, I love travel photography. The whole experience of immersing myself in another country, or somewhere I haven't visited in the UK, is so creative and stimulating - it's like being a kid again; noticing things for the first time. At the end of 2012 I worked with a charity for three months in Borneo to photograph an expedition, and lived in the most extraordinary places, with some awesome people. It was after this adventure I realised just how much I enjoy telling a story through the lens. A lot of the good times are recorded for me to remember. So if you're getting married abroad, let me know and I'll pack the suitcase!

 

My previous clients generally say that I am fun but professional. I get the job done. When you book me you can be assured that I won't be the bossy type that annoys your guests with constant group requests, "And now just the ladies with the hats - over by the tree, come on!" I really don't do that, and for a very good reason. This is your wedding, your family and friends and your special day. I will take some posed shots of you both and a few groups if you want, but mostly blend in and seek out the moments to make sure you have some wonderful memories of your wedding day.
